Description
The Lakshmi Charan Paduka is a 24 carat gold plated piece showing the sacred footprints of Goddess Lakshmi, sized 3.14 x 3.14 inches. It is placed at the entrance, on the altar or in the cash area.
In Hindu homes, Lakshmi's footprints drawn at the doorway mean the goddess is entering the house. You will see them in rangoli and alta at Diwali, and many families keep a metal paduka so the welcome stays all year. The feet should always point inwards, as if Lakshmi is walking into the home, never out of it.
The compact size suits flats, shops and office counters. It is also a thoughtful gift for griha pravesh, a new shop or Diwali, and sits well next to a Lakshmi or Kuber yantra in the puja ghar.
