Number 1 (Surya)

Mulank 1 personality: the one who starts things

People with mulank 1 are born on the 1st, 10th, 19th or 28th, and Surya rules them. You can usually spot a number 1 in the office. They take decisions fast, like to be in charge and quietly hate being told what to do. The other side is ego clashes with seniors or with father, impatience, and a habit of carrying everything alone. When Surya is weak in the chart, the same person can feel low on confidence and keep waiting for recognition that never quite comes.

A quick check with 28

Take the 28th: 2 + 8 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1. So someone born on 28 March and someone born on 1 November share mulank 1.

Where to start and what to add

Begin with the Numerology 1 Bracelet, which includes Sunstone. Put it on your right hand on a Sunday morning, ideally after offering water to the rising sun. The Tiger's Eye Bracelet is traditionally linked with Surya and confidence, and many people stack it with the numerology one.

For the home, the Surya Yantra sits in the puja ghar facing east. On Sundays light a diya and chant "Om Hraam Hreem Hraum Sah Suryaya Namah" 108 times. If you would rather order everything in one go, the Royal Leader Kit (Number 1) is put together for mulank 1. More Sun remedies are on our Surya page, and career remedies pair well with this number.
