The Ketu Yantra is a 24 carat gold plated yantra for Ketu, one of the nine grahas of Vedic astrology. It is placed in a meditation corner or puja ghar and worshipped with the Ketu mantra.
Ketu is a shadow planet, the south node of the Moon. It is linked with detachment, past karma, sudden changes and spiritual insight. When Ketu sits in a difficult house, or during Ketu mahadasha, people often describe feeling confused, cut off or unsure of their direction. Astrologers suggest the Ketu Yantra as a remedy at such times, usually along with chanting and simple charity.
