Shukra (Venus)

Love, comfort and the good things in life

Shukra is the graha of romance, marriage, art, beauty and luxury. A well-placed Venus is said to bring a happy relationship and a comfortable home. When it is weak, people tend to mention dull or strained relationships, money going out on things that don't satisfy, or a general lack of joy. Diamond and Opal are the traditional gemstones. Both are pricey, and astrologers prefer to see the chart before suggesting either.

Our Shukra pieces, compared

Rose Quartz Bracelet and Pendant

The first choice for matters of the heart. Single people and couples both buy it. The pendant is popular as a gift.

Shukr Chakra bracelets

Two versions: one with Lava Beads, and one with a 5 Mukhi Rudraksh worked in. Choose the Rudraksha one if you'd like Guru's steadiness alongside Shukra.

6 Mukhi Rudraksha Bracelet and Pendant

The Mukhi for Venus, with a lab test certificate.

Shree Shukra Yantra and the Love & Luxury Kit

The yantra is for the bedroom shelf or the puja ghar, facing east or north-east. The Shukra Love & Luxury Kit gathers several Venus pieces in one box.

Taurus (Vrishabh) and Libra (Tula) rashi can go straight to their Rashi Bracelets. Mulank 6, which means birthdays on the 6th, 15th or 24th, has the Numerology 6 Bracelet. The Navgraha bracelet, yantra and kit are listed here too.

Friday, white and fragrance

Friday is Shukra's day. Wear something white or light, keep yourself well-groomed (Venus likes that), and chant Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraya Namah 108 times before putting on a new bracelet. Offering white sweets or kheer to Goddess Lakshmi on Fridays is also common.
