The nine grahas and what each one looks after

In Jyotish, your kundli is read through nine grahas. Each has its own day, mantra and set of remedies. Here is the short version, with a page for each:

• Surya (Sun): confidence, father, government work, Sunday
• Chandra (Moon): mind, mother, sleep, Monday
• Mangal (Mars): courage, property, Manglik dosha, Tuesday
• Budh (Mercury): speech, business, studies, Wednesday
• Guru (Jupiter): wisdom, marriage, children, Thursday
• Shukra (Venus): love, comfort, beauty, Friday
• Shani (Saturn): hard work, delays, Sade Sati, Saturday
• Rahu: foreign travel, technology, sudden events
• Ketu: detachment, intuition, spirituality

Finding the planet that needs help

The surest way is to show your birth chart to an astrologer. You can do that on the AstroSutraa app, and they will look at your current dasha and antardasha, because the graha running your dasha usually matters most right now.

If you don't have a chart reading yet, two simpler starting points work for a lot of our customers. One is the lord of your rashi (Moon sign). A Kumbh rashi person, for example, would look at Shani. The other is your mulank: add the digits of your birth date until you get one number. Someone born on the 23rd gets 2+3 = 5, which is Budh.

When you can't pin it down to one planet

Plenty of people simply want all nine grahas kept calm. That is what the Navgraha items are for. The Navgraha Shanti Bracelet is the easy daily option.
